From the Lake to VT

We drove through really hot weather for a couple of days to get to the Lake (Adams Lake in Northeastern Indiana) to see my cousins Jack, Kat and Anne. We got to go on a lot of boat rides and go tubing. I even got to go on the wakeboard. We got to play with my cousins Kat and Anne a lot. They took me golfing and my uncle, Brad tried to teach me how. It was fun.

I did it!

Then we got to go to Cincinnati and see where my mom grew up. We stayed with my mom's friend, Kara, and we got to play with her babies. They are twins. The night we got there we walked to get ice cream. We saw the house where Mom grew up and on the way out of Cincinnati we stopped by Kings Island. There was a bunch of roller coasters. The first ride we went on, they took you up on these seats around a big pole and just dropped you. Mom and I went on a ride where we put on these harnesses and stood on a platform. They hooked us up to a string and lifted us up into the air. Mom pulled on the string and it let go and it felt like we were flying.

Then we drove to the Gunks to see our friends Bert and Ryane and their baby, Eliza. We went climbing there and there were really cool climbs.

The last day of our trip, we were in the Adirondacks. We went swimming in Chapel Pond and did another cool climb. The next day we took the ferry to Vermont. It was very weird to come home. The first thing I did was go to my room and looked around at all my stuff. I am very happy to be home now. I missed my cat, Piton the most. Now I can't wait to see my friends.
